MOODY? ME? Never! Let's be real, I'm human, not digital, programmable software.  Moods change and your desire for different things ever evolving. Their goal is to accommodate the active, moving, sweating person (which we as humans surprisingly do), with style. If you won ten million...what would you do? In a two year old survey taken of US residents a surprising 2/3 of those polled would continue to work. What about your car or what you wear? Would you continue to wear the same style, make a major style change or would you merely invest in more cat print, hand painted, silk scarves with Himalayan beaded fringe? (we all have our weird fashion obsessions) Waiting for an unlikely windfall to wear what you love, is living for tomorrow. Buy smart and you'll look like a million dollars!

Plunge right into spring with this lovely, fresh, owl print, vintage style dress. Put together in the photo with lemon yellow converse shows how it can be lightened up for casual wear. For leisure, we tend to gravitate to jeans, but why not a dress? Easy on, wrap style, securely fastens at the waist with 2 sweet buttons and back gathers. Style tip: worried about the front flying open at inopportune times? Wear bicycle shorts with a lace border or a vintage slip underneath. And footwear just changes the mood. Mary Janes or ankle wrap flats are different options.

I feel compelled to take someone down to the river and feed them tea and oranges when I look at this dress (thank you Leonard Cohen). Call me half crazy but this, bold exotic print reminds me so much of long days at festivals or (again) with different footwear and a shawl, makes a great brunch outfit.

A wink....generally means, a privately shared secret...or maybe a bit of flirting? In a nearly 20 year old study of what a 'wink' meant to the average person, actors were used to briefly walk by participants giving a wink...While I doubt Dr. Oz will be reporting on this ground breaking study any time soon, these are the results: Thanks was the choice 67% of the time, a friendly gesture 26%, sexual attraction only 11% and other 22%. Hands down, this dress will be one of (if not the) top seller this season. Another great design that takes into account that we're not lamp posts. We move, we dance, we sit, we run. Wink wink is light hearted, fun and easy to co-ordinate and the above column skirt is a great example. Note the other patterns available. Great for the many daily activities that require you get it on and go! Wear with cut out wedges, gladiators or simply ballet flats...smashing!

If you're looking for a super fun way to shake things up, maybe mixing complimentary patterns, for the above skirt, this batwing top works really well with it. If that's a touch too busy, think about breaking it up with a wide belt.

Never having been accused of being 'too graceful' myself, I somehow have found, some clothing can help create the illusion for me...like the above Wink Wink loose fitting t shirt. Cool and casual... do it right!

Looking 'cool' with a casual, effortless appearance is not as easy as it seems...or is it? There's a fine line between casual and...well, sloppy. The rugged look of aged denim can have a truly negative effect, if, all elements are not taken into account (ie: footwear, accessories, quality). Take a peak at some of what Plum has, that I feel, exemplify 'casual' done right.

Nothing like a statement T to create a look which takes the place of accessories, if uncomplicated is your choice. The simple nature of the t shirt and dark denim, create a fresh image...not much else is needed. However, if adding a necklace is preferred, by all means that would also work without creating something 'too busy'.

Vintage denim creates a personal, lived in feel; like you've worn them for years and made them your own.
