Every week I have to go to Plum to see what's new. I don't know of any other store that stocks new items on such a regular basis. I'm so afraid if I don't go, I'll miss something that I just have to have in my wardrobe. And barely a week goes by when I don't leave the store with a new item. My last purchase? A great long outdoor sweater in a fabulous neutral that I know I'll wear all fall. Of course I had to just pick up a few pieces of jewellery too - why not? The Kitsilano Plum was a little busier than usual last night. After hours shoppers came by from 6-9pm for FASHION’S FIRST NIGHT OUT on West 4th. Almost 40 retailers participated in the event, offering shoppers a special discount for one night only. Our staff had so much fun and Plum customers enjoyed $20 off or a FREE scarf with their purchases.

On Wednesday, September 21st from 6 pm until 9 pm, it's FASHION'S FIRST NIGHT on West 4th. Over 25 retailers are participating, with LOTS of great deals, food, free valet parking, and tons of fun!

Just a few highlights of the KHATSALAHNO Music and Art Festival this past Saturday. The Plum gals from our West 4th location said the entire event was so much fun! Tons of great live bands, vendors from the community, delicious food, and art. Even the weather cooperated and made the festival a beautiful day to be outside. I ventured off to South Granville yesterday to see what kind of amazing deals our Plum stores had to offer during the Sidewalk Sale. I couldn't believe some of the items that were 70% off, as well as tons of other fab discounts throughout the store! Purses are 50% off for the 4 days only, a discount that made it impossible for me to leave without a new bag. My ultimate weakness was the 25% off jewellery, and I left with some new bracelets to stack on my wrist (because I can never leave a store buying just ONE item)!
